SF11 Charge Sheet: Very often in Indian Railway SF11 and SF5 Chargesheet is issued to maintain discipline among staff. These charge sheets are issued under DAR (Discipline and Appeal RulesĀ ) Rules of Indian Railways. In today’s post we will discuss about SF11.

Full form of SF11

The full form of SF11 is Standard Form 11. This SF11 is generally issued as a start of the procedure for imposing minor penalties.

Procedure of SF11

  • SF11 is generally issued based on the report of the Immediate Supervisor of the employee.
  • Normally before other cases, Fact Finding Enquiry is issued, but since SF11 is issued based on the special report of the immediate supervisor, fact Finding Enquiry is not necessary in this case.

SF11 is generally issued to impose Minor Penalties like –

  • Censure :
  • Withholding of Promotion for a specific period.
  • Recovery From Pay of Pecuniary loss caused to the Government by negligence or breach of orders.
  • Withholding of Privilege Passes or Privilege Ticket Orders or both
  • Reduction to a lower stage in the time scale of pay one stage for a period not exceeding three years, without cumulative effect and not affecting pension:
  • Withholding of Increments of pay for a specified period with further directions as to whether on the expiry of such period this will or will not have the effect of postponing the future increments of his pay.

  1. Not doing any mistakes if sf 11 is imposed to railway staff for not doing his authorised duty and not giving clear message and mode of work by Sr dee to JE. Is it possible in railway rules

  2. I have charged negligence in duty.what type minor penalty imposed against me.whether no any type damage made by negligence.
