Maternity leave can be combined with other leave up to one year without production of medical certificate and on production of medical certificate beyond one year.

Physically Challenged employees are eligible for additional 4 days CL in a year.

Gazetted officers may be granted Leave on Average Pay (LAP) exceeding 180 days but not exceeding 240 days if leave is granted outside India, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Myanmar, Sri Lanka, Nepal, or Pakistan.

Maximum LAP per year: 30 days.
Maximum accumulation of LAP: 300 days.
Maximum LAP that can be availed at a time: 180 days.

A permanent or temporary Railway servant is entitled to 30 days of Leave on Average Pay (LAP) in a calendar year. This leave is credited in two installments of 15 days each, on January 1st and July 1st. The maximum accumulated LAP is 300 days.

Railway servants are eligible for 20 days of LHAP in ayear.It will be credited in two installments of 10 days each on 1^st of January and July every year. There is no maximum limit specified for accumulation of LHAP.

CCL – Child Care Leave
→ Eligibility – Female employees as well as Single Male Employees.
→ Maximum 730 days during the entire service.
→ CCL is sanctioned to take care of 2 eldest surviving children.
→ CCL is not admissible if the child is 18 years of age or older.
→ For disabled children there is no age limit.
→ CCL is not debited to any leave account.
→ For the first 365 days full salary will be paid.
→ For the next 365 days 80% of the salary will be paid.
→ CCL can be combined with any other kind of leave, maximum of
one year.
→ Holidays falling during CCL are counted as CCL.
→ In a year only 3 times CCL is sanctioned.
→ Every time it should not be less than 5 days CCL.
